Many years ago, it was the dream of  Anne Moore that the Museum begin a Video History Program. Anne’s daughter, Bonnie Hanley, was on the Heritage Museum’s Board and served as Chairperson of the Oral History Project. Her Mother gave “seed” money as well as her sister, Susie Pokorski, to begin the program.

After a few years, Butch Bateman stepped into Bonnie Hanley’s position  and began the video history process.  With available grants from the Montgomery County Community Foundation, the museum contacted Sam Cable, a Montgomery County native,  to record the pioneers and their memories on camera for transfer to DVD.

The video history program has recorded, on camera, citizens  telling their story of the way Montgomery County "use to be" when they were young men and women.  These DVD's are available for sale in the museum’s Gift Shop for $15.00 and also for viewing at the Museum.
